Earliest baseball / softball / t-ball playing memory: Never played T-ball, when I first joined a city baseball team I was about 8 or 9 I always got on base because I was to short for any pitcher to pitch me a strike, so I walked a lot. We took second place that year.

Something very few people and nobody on the team knows about you... until now: When I was a kid, I was in Ballet and tap. My Ballet teacher told my mom I was very coordinated. I must have lost that at some point.

Favorite non-softball sport to play: volleyball
Earliest baseball / softball / t-ball playing memory: My first hit ever, in little league came when I was 9. We were hitting against these big green pitching machines, and I could never get the timing right, so I always struck out. It was very frustrating and the coach put me at the bottom of the order. So when that first hit came, I hardly knew what to expect. It hurt like crazy and only dribbled in front of the plate. But I took off for first and I actually made it, only to get thrown out later at second. My hand still hurt and began to change pretty colors and swell up. Turns out that first hit had been off my thumb, which promptly broke it. I was new to this whole "hitting the ball" thing, so I had no clue how it supposed to feel!
